THE HAM RADIO GUY
About Ham Radio
The Ham Radio Guy provides education and news to the ham radio community. I’ll give you updates to my ham shack information on current ham radio-related events, antennas, and legislation. I want to inspire new hams to get on the air.
Meet Your Host
Marvin Turner, AKA The Ham Radio Guy, is an Extra Class Amateur radio operator who has been licensed since 1995!
My name is MarvinTurner. I have been in amateur radio for over 25 years, and I decided to get my General license in March of 2018. This opened up a new world of radio for me; especially now I had a space to make a Ham Radio Suite. I have a bed, workout area, dartboard with Heat and AC all in the bonus room. I enjoy operating from remote places and participating in Parks On The Air (POTA)
